History of Pulau Ayer

Pulau Ayer pernah disebut sebagai "Pearl of Thousand Island" Mutiara kepulauan seribu, luasnya hanya beberapa hectare saja. Pulau ini mulai dikunjungi tourist sejak tahun 1950 dan dapat ditempuh dalam waktu 20 menit dengan menggunakan speed boat.
Tempat ini dulu digunakan sebagai tempat peristirahatan Bung Karno President I Indonesia, Beliau berkunjung bersama President Tito (Yugoslavia) dan mantan Sekjen PBB, Unu.
Cottage di pulau Ayer berbentuk panggung dan bermotif Asmat, letaknya di darat dan diatas laut. didepan pulau Ayer terlihat pulau Bidadari.
